Who We Are

   Welcome. I started my life with cosmetology school in Sept. 1984 and graduated in 1985. I then moved to Richmond  VA and was employed at Fantstic Sam's for 8 months. Then  I  went to work at Regency Hair Designs for 2 months. The money was good but the work was slow. I was offered a position at another Fantastic Sam's as a manager for 10 months. I worked for a wonderful woman, which is no longer with us. I brought  her a very prosperous business. I was then offered a job back home, in Staunton VA. I worked for Family Barber and was tought the art of barbering. I worked there for 8 & 1/2 years. I then moved in 1996 of Feb. to Greenville ave. On April 23, 2012 I moved to 220 Frontier Dr. location, spent 5-1/2 years. Now I have moved my final time. I have done a remodle of my carport and designed a beautiful Warm and inviting environment, and business has been great ever since.

   I work long hours and am very dedicated to my people and my job. I have always liked working alone. You have my undivided attention and that personal touch usually with no distractions. I have a variety of services available. I offer perming on short, long or even extremely long hair. I do regular perms, spiral wrap, piggy back wrap, and pony tail wrap perms. I also do body perms for that loose look. In coloring, I offer regular one tone, or multi color tones, highlifting, low lighting, streaking, foiling, color overlays, temporary coloring, highlift blonding, and men's coloring, which is a camo coloring, meaning you color some, and you leave some, like premature gray. There is always an unlimited amount of things you can do with coloring. I have always liked coloring, a challenge is always waiting. I also do facial waxing. I like most of all, cutting, I like the idea of combining regular cosmetology training with barbering, it makes possibilities achievable.

   Being a hair designer since 1984 has given me pleasure in knowing lots of people. I have to say, the people in my life right now are some of the best friends and loved ones anyone could wish for and  I thank them, from the bottom of my heart, for allowing me to know each and every one of them. The strength and wisdom has taught me who I need to be and has formed my career.
